Vancouver, BC – March 24, 2008 – Simba Technologies Inc., the leader in data connectivity solutions, announced today that it has licensed its MDX 2005 Parser technology to SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) for use with the SAP NetWeaver® Business Intelligence (SAP NetWeaver BI) component of the SAP NetWeaver platform. Simba’s MDX Parser is MDX 2005 Language-compliant and will enable SAP’s business intelligence infrastructure to work with MDX produced by the newest generation of business intelligence applications from vendors like Microsoft, such as Microsoft Excel 2007.

The MDX Language specification was last published in 1999. Since this time, Microsoft has made significant enhancements to the MDX Language used in its products. Simba’s MDX technology integrates Microsoft’s most current MDX enhancements, making it the most advanced, licensable technology of its kind.
