SimbaO2X is a cost effective way to bridge the gap between an ODBO enabled application and a data source exposed via XMLA. It allows Business Intelligence (BI) applications to connect to virtually any XMLA data source – standard or proprietary – in a web services environment.
SimbaO2X is a client-side ODBO driver that can connect to a multi-dimensional data source exposing a XMLA interface. SimbaO2X receives the MDX query from the client and passes it to the server using XMLA.
