Required Qualifications:

Linux Administrator for Software Development Operations

As the Administrator for Development Operations, you will be involved in the entire lifecycle of Simba’s product development process. This position will work directly with developers and testers to design and build server, network and solutions necessary for product development. You will manage complex system configurations, and development and implementation of process and automation. This role is also responsible for day to day systems management, ensuring reliability and performance of our systems in product development and test lab environments, and operating and managing development support systems for configuration control and build across a growing and diverse set of platforms and configurations.

 

To be successful, you will need to contribute solid technical expertise to our team with a customer service mindset.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of practical experience in IT administration and support
  • 1+ years of experience in a product or development environment
  • Expert in Linux and Unix operating systems (e.g. SUSE, Red Hat, OSX, Solaris, AIX, and HP UNIX)
  • Completely comfortable managing VMware ESX and vSphere virtualized environments

Experienced Sales Engineer

  • Lead the discovery efforts, and document customer requirements and technical needs
