We knew Tableau was working on supporting SAP BW using the MDX Query Language and the OLE DB for OLAP (ODBO) interface.  Francois Ajenstat @ Tableau has now confirmed that this will be available in their “next monthly maintenance release (7.0.4) coming mid-May.”  You can see a preview of Tableau running on SAP BW.
