The Magnitude Gateway Salesforce Intelligent Adapter enables streamlined analytics and reporting on Salesforce data. Complying with both the ODBC 3.80 and JDBC 4.2 data standards, the adapter simplifies the process of connecting to data sources by enabling you to use the same connection across both types of applications. Additionally, the adapter is supported by the Magnitude Gateway Settings application, which provides a user-friendly interface for configuring and managing your connections.
The Magnitude Gateway Salesforce Intelligent Adapter is an intelligent adapter, providing predefined views that instantly organize your raw Salesforce data into meaningful tables in addition to providing access to the base Salesforce tables. Using the intelligent adapter, you can retrieve your data and organize it into meaningful sets without writing complex SQL queries to pull the data together.

The Magnitude Gateway Salesforce Intelligent Adapter provides predefined views that organize your raw data into meaningful tables, streamlining data analysis and reporting processes.
When you connect to Salesforce using an intelligent adapter, these views become available as tables under the vGateway virtual schema. You can work with these views in your ODBC or JDBC application like any regular database table.
The Magnitude Gateway Salesforce Intelligent Adapter includes the following views
The view provides asset information, such as the name, description, quantity, price, status, owner and parent asset names, purchase, installed, and usage end dates, and created and last modified dates.
The view provides opportunity information, such as the name, description, type, amount, currency code, created and closed dates, forecast category, lead source, and record type.
The view provides note information, such as the title, body, and created and modified dates; and parent object information, such as the name, type, and created and last modified dates.
This view returns information about the notes associated with opportunities, accounts, contacts, or products in Salesforce Sales Cloud. A record is returned for each note identifier.
The view provides opportunity information, such as the name, description, type, probability, stage, amount, expected revenue, currency code, created and closed dates, forecast category, lead source, and record type.
Open Opportunities Activities
This view returns information about activities of open tasks or events pertaining to open opportunities in Salesforce Sales Cloud. A record is returned for each activity identifier.
Opportunity Changes By Period
The view returns snapshots of the latest historical information about opportunities in Salesforce Sales Cloud as of the start date of the period defined in month. This information pertains to the opportunities that have close dates from the last 200 days.
The view provides historical and current information about opportunities, such as the stage name, default stage sequence, probability of closure, estimated sale and revenue amounts, created and close dates, and forecast category
Opportunity Line Items
This view returns information about opportunity line items for products associated with opportunities in Salesforce Sales Cloud. A record is retuned for each opportunity line item identifier.
